The in-situ radioactivity monitoring sensor is an in-situ gammarayspectrometer. lt is developed and applied for in-situ radioactivity measuring in any aquatic environment (coastal waters, open sea, groundwaterlakes, rivers, etc) with difficult weather conditions. The portable sensoroperates autonomously, and can be installed on floating measuringsystems. lt provides not only the energy spectra of gamma-ray emittersdue to natural and manmade radiation that released to the environment,but also the amount of radioactivity, nuclide discrimination and quantitative radionuclide analysis. It can be used for the radioactivity continuousmonitoring, pollution early warning,accidentemergency，scienceresearch and some other purposes.
