The instrument is specialized in the measurement of COD in seawater. According to the national standard of sea water (GB17378.4)the measurement of COD is performed by the sequence of alkalinepotassium permanganate oxidation, potassium iodide reduction andspectrophotometry. lt can be integrated into buoys, shorebasestations, survey ships and other platforms. It is suitable formeasurements of dilute samples in the ocean and concentratedsamples in the discharge outlets.
